Satellite Broadband
Our Satellite Services is a world class two-way
satellite based managed network service that delivers corporate-grade
connectivity services and applications direct to the customer. The
basic suite of services include:
- Virtual Private Networks- Virtual Private Network (VPN)
will allow corporate offices located throughout the region to
connect seamlessly across countries to a private managed network,
allowing corporate applications and data to be shared across all
sites.
- File and Content Delivery - File and Content Delivery
services allow for delivery of information and content to multiple
sites at the same time, allowing simultaneous access to the same
information across different corporate locations.
- Broadband Connectivity - Broadband services allow for
two-way delivery of Internet traffic providing different bandwidth
sizes and usage profiles.
- Multicast services - Allow for the delivery
of multicasting contents like BizTV and NetTV streaming to the
desktop.

Our Satellite services is using the newest Two-Way
Broadband Satellite communications system for Internet Protocol
over Satellite. The Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) technology
offers broadband connectivity and bandwidth efficiency in a low
cost terminal to support applications such as:
- Internet access
- Digital media streaming
- Video conferencing
- Corporate Intranet and Extranets
- Distance education
- Voice Over IP
- Virtual private networks
- Multicasting
- Other IP-based services
The platform is a scalable, high-performance Internet
Protocol (IP) system that provides high bandwidth satellite forward
and return channels. The system offers broadband-on-demand IP multi-service
access from a central Hub to remote locations with an asymmetric
broadband multi-frequency TDMA return channel. In addition, it enables
Global Service Providers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and
enterprises to offer broadband Internet access by leveraging the
unique advantages of satellite-based networks in providing point-to-multipoint
transmissions.
APPLICATIONS
This product is well suited for today's broadband applications.
Service providers offering Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and multi-national
corporations can establish extremely economical star networks using
one VSAT platform. Ideal network applications include Internet Service
Provider Access, Private Corporate Networks, Virtual Private Networks,
Telemedicine, Voice Over IP, and Distance Education.
INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS
The platform is designed to support large quantities of asymmetric
traffic, making it ideal for Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
As an ISP increases coverage beyond metropolitan areas, low cost
broadband IP delivery over satellite becomes increasingly valuable.
The Hub provides access to the Internet backbone, and remote terminals
are installed at large client locations, or at ISP remote POP (Point
of Presence) locations. For example, multinational ISPs serving
Europe can extend their services into more remote locations, USA
(via Hawaii), Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India,
Indonesia ,Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal,
Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam.
